Client: Brownlee Lighting Launch Project » www.brownlee.com Skills Used: PHP, MySQL, HTML, Javascript Project: The Brownlee Lighting website was a static html website that listed products, but the fact that the website was static html made any site-wide changes difficult. I converted the website into a database-driven product catalog. The entire catalog was completely custom-coded in PHP with a MySQL database. The client wanted the ability to import products from an Excel file. I gave them that capability, and also added a part in their website administration section where they can backup the current database and view / go back to previous versions of the database. |
